Rotorcraft Systems Challenge

Design, build, and fly

A two-phase micro multirotor challenge for aerial surveillance and rapid delivery. It progresses from technical evaluation and manual flight to autonomous missions and the Tiger’s Cave final.

Next-Gen Air Mobility Challenge

Design-only

A design-only fixed-wing hybrid VTOL challenge for transporting medical supplies across a 20 km mission profile at 200 ft.

  • Hybrid VTOL concept
  • Up to 4 kg take-off weight
  • At least 250 g payload
  • 20 km medical-supply transport mission
  • Design altitude of 200 ft
  • Evaluated through a technical report and presentation
